Hillsdale College, finally!

 

Home sweet Hillsdale.  I am officially all moved in and ready to be a college freshman!  I was lucky to be placed in the McIntyre residence with a lot of very kind and beautiful girls (and beloved AC!)  My roomie is so sweet, we get along really well.  Please appreciate the lovely quilt my mom sewed for me to take as a piece of home!

We are still doing orientation activities and having a lot of fun.  There was a freshman mixer party on Saturday night where I met so many amazing people from across the US!  Sunday night was all about dorm life; all the Mac Girls had a good night of water painting, smores, and mafia playing around the campfire!  Monday night was the Welcome Party for all Hillsdale students, not just the freshman.  There were several live bands, good food, and fun games.  

I left most of my siblings at home and miss them dearly, but leaving my parents was definitely the most emotional part of the move.  In the end, both they and I have been ready for this for a while now (despite the tears on my part,) and I am so excited to make them proud.  

Classes start tomorrow morning and I can't wait!  Be prepared for class updates regularly, tomorrow I will have Spanish and Western Theological Tradition (so exciting!!)
